Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers before you commit.
Project requests begin a review, not a contract. The signed scope defines the final commercial and service commitments.
How does OUTSEED vet engineers?
OUTSEED reviews identity privately, professional history, role-specific experience, declared certifications, availability, conflicts, and permission to undertake external work. Capability review may include technical discussion, evidence checks, and references appropriate to the engagement. A profile remains unpublished or unassignable until the required review is complete.
How is client data and security handled?
The public request form is for non-secret context only. After scope review, access is limited to assigned people and approved channels under the applicable confidentiality and client terms. Workspace access is role-based, sessions are server-managed, and authenticator protection is optional. Data residency, privileged access, retention, and client-specific controls are agreed before sensitive delivery begins.
What service levels are available?
There is no one-size-fits-all website SLA. OUTSEED proposes service hours, severity definitions, response targets, escalation paths, maintenance windows, and dependencies after engineers review the environment and criticality. Only the signed order form or statement of work creates a committed SLA.
How do billing and contracts work?
Specialist support can be hourly, dedicated capacity can be monthly, projects can be fixed-scope or time-and-materials, and managed operations are quoted around coverage and responsibility. You receive a written scope and commercial proposal before paid work starts. Taxes, approved expenses, payment timing, confidentiality, intellectual property, and termination terms are documented in the applicable agreement.
How do controlled engineer introductions work?
Clients first assess capability, experience, timezone, availability, and relevant industry context while personal identity remains protected. OUTSEED checks interest, conflicts, and fit with both sides. Identity and direct professional details are shared only after the engineer accepts and OUTSEED approves the introduction.
When should I expect a response after submitting a request?
The current service target is an initial acknowledgement within one business day. A technical response may take longer when the request needs a specialist review or additional context. Urgent support depends on available coverage, and a contractual response time applies only when written into an active service agreement.
